The Greater Austin Clay Studio Tour is an event to welcome the Austin community into area studios to take part in demos and workshops, purchase work from area clay artists, and experience what Austin has to offer the clay world.

We are an artist-run community ceramics studio and gallery providing a safe and friendly place to learn, explore ideas and exchange knowledge in the arts of ceramics. Started by a group of friends, you'll find them all hanging out at Ceramigos and giving hands on demos throughout the weekend.

Brushy Ridge Drive is a circle street that intersects with William Cannon at each end. While not a one-way street, it is safest to turn in at the east end, using the left turn lane.

Austin Pottery opened in May 2017 and is located on Burnet Road, nestled amongst Allandale's growing community of boutique shops, restaurants, and mid-town flats. The street front gallery offers a variety of handmade pottery by over 40 local clay artists, both professional and hobbyist. The pottery studio within is set up to accommodate group classes and shared workspace for members.
Accessibility:
Artists will be set up inside on smooth concrete floors and in back gravel lot.
Nearby street parking on Shoalmont and Adams; limited spaces at gallery storefront on Burnet Rd.; no designated handicap parking.

Originally founded as Clarksville Pottery in 1978, Sunset Canyon Pottery has moved through multiple locations before settling on Burnet Road, where it continues to thrive. Our close-knit team of artisans are dedicated to crafting high-quality, functional pottery designed to bring beauty to everyday life. Led by owner John Vela, whose background in ceramics and chemistry fuels our innovation, we take pride in blending tradition with creativity. In addition to our handcrafted pottery, we now offer classes, workshops, and memberships, inviting the community to explore the art of ceramics.
Accessibility:
Studio and gallery are inside on smooth concrete floors. There are three steps into the studio. Outdoor space with kiln is asphalt and 3 steep steps. Gate access to backyard.
Parking is limited.

Rosa Pottery Studio is a safe place where everyone can create to their heart’s content in clay. Students will be accepted no matter who their authentic self is, especially those who identify as LGBTQ+/POC. We do this by hosting classes and members of all kinds!
