Pottery has been a passion of mine since taking a course in college. While it's not my main career, I want it to be ;) I enjoy wheel thrown and altered pieces -- more art than function. Adding leather or beads or sticks to my pots is always fun. My favorite firing method is RAKU - it's amazing to me to see the results before your very eyes -- and who doesn't love a good fire!.  Sculpture is something else I'm delving into.  I'd like to make a totem pole with thrown open jars and then add sculptural elements.
