As a ceramicist, I am a hand builder and surface designer. I create clay forms, both functional and decorative, that serve as my canvas. Once I form my pieces, I revel in exploring with line, color, shape and imagery to breathe life into them. This vitalization of the image, mostly spontaneous, is one of the most enjoyable aspects of creating them.
