Monike is a thirty-something speech-language pathologist and former Biology major who feels happiest when she is making something with her hands. Since constructing custom Barbie furniture for her dolls in grade school, she’s loved making “art” for daily use. This has expanded into intricate ink and paper pieces, every-day ceramic forms, and the combination of the two. She lives in Austin, Texas with her partner and three cats, Waffles, Bonnie, and Lux.
